There are some possible solutions to put out this intense fires. The aboriginal australians, for example, uses aboriginal techniques such as ridding the land of fuel, like debris, scrub, undergrowth and certain grasses. Furthermore, they would also set small-scale fires that weren't too intense, and get rid of the extra debris. However, these techniques were to prevent such current fires from happening, and aren't effective as of now, but are still being used. The most effective method currently is firefighters battling the small fires using water. On the other hand, helicopters and planes are used when fighting much bigger fires.
